Sony PSP Go (€249.99)

The Sony PSP Go is the latest weapon in the hand-held console war. The device ditches the Universal Media Disc for games. Instead, fans will download the latest games from Sony's online store to their device, either directly via WiFi, through your PC with the included Media Go software or by connecting the device to your PlayStation 3 and accessing Sony's games store. Smaller and lighter than the regular PSP, the Go has 16 GBytes of built-in memory to store games and video, a storage capacity that can be expanded to 32 GBytes via a memory stick micro (M2) flash card. Bluetooth has been added to the new PSP, which allows the Go to be connected to wireless headsets.

Apple Magic Mouse (€69)

This Bluetooth battery-powered mouse represents a bit of a leap forward for Apple. The touch-sensitive mouse can be used as a single or multi-button mouse, with what Apple calls advanced gesture support. Using multi-touch technology the company has used successfully in the iPhone, iPod and trackpads in Macs, the mouse ditches scroll wheels and other mechanical means and works by intuitive finger gestures. So users can scroll through long documents, navigate a number of web pages and pan images using finger gestures on the mouse’s surface. Laser tracking makes the Magic Mouse more accurate – and all in Apple’s trademark design, so it won’t sully your desktop. http://www.apple.ie

Jabra Stone bluetooth headset ($130)

Bluetooth headsets are becoming an increasingly common sight these days but in terms of design, many of them leave a lot to be desired. The Jabra Stone is hoping to change all that.

The device has no visible "on face" microphone, instead building it neatly into the headset, which wraps itself behind your ear.

Noise Blackout Extreme technology cuts down on background noise while you talk, while still giving a natural-sounding voice quality.

The charger is wireless and portable, so you can charge on the go when your battery status indicator tells you it's time – once you get through the promised battery life of up to eight hours of talk time and 12 days of standby time.
