IRISH FIRM Taxback.com is to expand its presence in the US through partnership with Concur, an expense software provider.

The deal, announced in Washington yesterday, will result in increased revenues of about €20 million for the Kilkenny-based firm over two to three years.

Taxback.com, which specialises in tax and VAT recovery, has an office in Chicago, and is considering opening a second US base in New York. Much of the new US business will be serviced through its Haiti office, although the deal may lead to job-creation in Ireland, where most of its account management services are based.

Taxback.com was founded by Terry Clune, last year’s Entrepreneur of the Year winner. It has over 6,000 clients and processes €500 million a year in tax claims.
