The costs of broadband connectivity for Cork and other regional centres are 25 per cent higher than in Dublin and regional cities in Britain, according to a study by European On-Line Partners for Cork Chamber of Commerce.

"This is a particularly worrying trend considering the scaling back of investment plans by most operators in Ireland," said Mr David Horgan, managing director of European On-Line Partners.
