Navan Resources has concluded further drilling at its Aguas Tenidas mine in southern Spain. Results from the six holes drilled at the mine showed the deposit becoming wider and richer at depth, according to a company statement.

The total resource at Aguas Tenidas, based on the surface drilling results, is about 40 million tonnes. Navan plans to mine 160,000 tonnes of ore this year, which will increase to 600,000 tonnes per annum by the end of 2001.
