Riverdeep exceeded market expectations and, more importantly, showed that it had achieved a cash break-even position ahead of schedule with its latest set of results. Davy Stockbrokers suggest that, if Riverdeep achieves profitability, the shares could be revalued.

Its two peers in the electronic learning market, Plato and Renaissance Learning, have performed well recently primarily because they are profitable.

Sentiment towards Riverdeep has improved on positive news from the kindergarten to 12-year-old educational market.
