Scottish Radio Holdings, which has a 18.6 per cent in Today FM, expects recent changes at the station to lead to further audience growth. The company yesterday reported a 17 per cent increase in turnover to £43.8 million with pre-tax profits rising by 30 per cent to £12.1 million. The chief executive, Mr Richard Findlay, said the company intends to build a stable of local papers in the Republic after acquiring the Leitrim Observer in October for £1 million.
