Price Waterhouse has appointed six partners to the firm

Price Waterhouse has appointed six partners to the firm. They include Mr Maitiu Breathnach who specialises in market risk management and derivatives valuation techniques. He is currently finishing a three-year secondment from Price Waterhouse.

Mr Kevin Egan, previously based in London, has over 10 years experience providing audit, regulatory and consultancy services to life and non-life clients in the State and internationally.

Another new partner is Mr Mark Carter whose experience is with the firm's Global Human Resource Solutions network.

Mr Paul O'Connor has experience in technology companies, with focus on both major global technology companies.

Mr Damian Neylin specialises in funds management and financial services, while Mr Michael Maher specialises in the provision of transaction support services.

Mr Roger Whitehead is the new general manager of Wang for Ireland and Britain. He will be responsible for the marketing, sales and operations of the Wang Global network and desktop integration services.

WorldCom Ireland has appointed Mr John O'Connor as financial controller and Mr Basil Bailey as sales manager for its Dublin operation.

Mr O'Connor is leaving the Jones Group and has previously worked with Credit Suisse, First Boston and in the US with Warner Brothers.

Mr Bailey was previously sales manger with the computer firm, AST and with Wang Ireland.

Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Ms Carmel Phelan formerly of New Ireland Assurance and Mr Ivan Murphy to its new management operation in Dublin.

Aberdeen manages assets in excess of £13 billion internationally, including more than £1.3 billion of Irish assets for Scottish Provident.

Timoney Technology Group has appointed Mr Tony Wall as sales manager of its engine/transmission remanufacturing division, Adtec Aerauto.

Mr Wall joins the company from Renault Distributors where he was responsible for Government and special sales.

Mr Donal Donnelly has been elected president of the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (IIPMM).

Mr Donnelly is currently project manager for Van Den Bergh Foods installing a new transaction-based software for its sales and order processes.
