Partnership shake-up mooted

The 15-year-old social partnership model may need to be refined, says Mr David Begg, general secretary of ICTU. He said the social partners would have to accept that the trajectory for public spending as a percentage of GDP must change direction and begin to rise if the State was to fund social provision and infrastructure properly.
