NTL, the Anglo-American communications firm which acquired Cablelink for £535 million (€679 million) last July, is investing £6 million in a rebranding campaign. The campaign is in advance of its launch of telephone, Internet and digital television services this year.
NTL is investing £350 million in the construction of a digital broadband network.
Meanwhile, in Britain, NTL is facing investigation by the Advertising Standards Authority over a flood of complaints that its free Internet promotion is misleading and failing customers.
