Two firms with existing operations in the North - Communisis, the information management and communications group and the DIY chain B&Q - yesterday announced new investment projects for Northern Ireland.

Communisis plans to invest £1.25 million to expand its financial communication operations in Lisburn which will create 20 new jobs B&Q is also expected to create a further 150 jobs at a new supercentre in Ballymena.
