National Irish launches bond

Following on from its equity bond tracker fund in August last year, National Irish Bank has introduced the Equity Bond Series 2. Series 2 will also invest in the European and Japanese stock markets.

The new bond offers a 100 per cent capital guarantee for an investment period of three years and tracks the Eurostoxx 50 index and the Nikkei Dow 225 index. The minimum investment is £5,000. The capital guarantee applies to both indices so that if one index does not rise in value, it does not reduce the return on the other index.
