A tiger approach to the Chinese Year of the Horse

Dublin agency Rothco's client roster includes some far flung accounts notably Asia Pacific Breweries (APB).

To mark the Chinese Year of the Horse (the New Year starts tomorrow) the Dublin-based agency devised a poster campaign for Tiger to run in APB's home country, Singapore.

Eight horses
The whimsical illustration which features eight horses (a symbol of prosperity) hidden among swirling figures and colours was commissioned from New York based Hong Kong native Victo Ngai.

The illustrator wrote on his blog of the process of working with the agency: "I play solo for most of my assignments. This time I got to work very closely with Rothco, especially my art director Dylan Davies and project manager Jessica Derby. Because of the rush deadline and time differences among me (NY), the agency (Dublin) and the client (Singapore), we often had to work late into the nights together."
