Smurfit Group said yesterday that Mr Gary McGann (49) currently chief financial officer, would succeed Mr Patrick Wright (58) as president and chief operations officer on the retirement of Mr Wright on January 1st. The company said Mr Ian Curley, now the chief financial officer for Europe, was to take over from Mr McGann as chief financial officer.
