Lamont Holdings, the Northern Ireland listed textiles group, will relocate its Belfast-based head office to Rochdale, England, in a symbolic gesture severing its last links with the North.

Two key board members of the struggling textiles group have also resigned. Mr Richard Milliken has stepped down as chief executive and will be replaced by Mr Bill Gleave, while Mr Michael Lamont has also resigned as company secretary.
