The "easy" dress code at the accountants' Waterford bash brought forth another gem from Colin Sharman. Sir Winston Churchill, who was a member of Trinity House, went to France for a special occasion. He was wearing the Trinity House uniform which puzzled the French.

One Frenchman plucked up the courage to ask the Englishman what uniform he was wearing. Sir Winston replied: "I am an elder brother of the Trinity." To which the astonished Frenchman replied "Mon Dieu!".
