THE Irish operations of software supplier JBA increased profits by 28 per cent last year to £4.1 million, the company said yesterday.

Turnover for Irish operations rose 20 per cent to £10.4 million. Birmingham based JBA, which employs 94 people in Dublin and plans to double its workforce over the next four years, said worldwide turnover rose 31 per cent to £162 million sterling and pretax profits jumped 57 per cent to £11.3 million sterling.
