Bausch & Lomb Ireland, the Waterford-based contact lens manufacturer, has introduced an internal television news bulletin transmitted over its local computer network.
Using the firm's intranet platform, once a week the project co-ordinators broadcast a five-minute bulletin featuring sport, local news, social events and personality profiles.
