Irish Marine Oil (IMO) has completed a study on the purchase and development of the Bula zinc orebody at Nevinstown, Co Meath, and is to seek partners to participate in a bid for the property. The company yesterday reported preliminary results for the year to April 1999 showing a loss before taxation of £43,095 (€54,719). In his chairman's statement Mr John Teeling said the company had "very positive results" from its drilling in Caherconlish, Co Limerick, where extensive zinc/lead mineralisation has been discovered.
