The HSBC Group has upgraded its representative office in Dublin to full branch status, a move that will enable HSBC to provide Irish and multinational corporates with international electronic cash management and payment services, including cross-Border pooling and cash concentration.

HSBC Ireland chief executive Mr James Deeny said: "With the large number of HSBC Group corporate clients operating in Ireland, the opening of a global payments and cash management operation in Ireland is a natural development."
