Some 130 jobs are to be created in Dublin with the opening of a new nursing home in Santry, writes Ciara O'Brien.

The TLC Group is opening the Cara Care Centre in Northwood Park at the end of the month, with a €12 million investment. The home will have 103 beds for public and private patients, day care and respite facilities.

The centre is recruiting nurses, care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, chefs, waitresses, kitchen porters, housekeeping staff, night porters, receptionists, administrators, and staff for the beauty salon on site.
