AIB's life and pensions company, Ark Life, has announced the appointment of Mr Gerry Byrne as its new managing director. Mr Byrne is moving to Ark Life from AIB where he held the position of Business Unit manager for south-west Dublin. He has held several positions in AIB since joining in 1973. He is replacing Mr Fred Dinmore, who remains on the board of Ark Life as chairman. Ark Life, which began trading in 1991, holds the third position in the life and pensions market.
