Irish Forestry Services has announced details of the second Forestry Investment Plan, which is offering a projected 9.6 per cent tax free compound rate of return with a minimum investment of £500 (€635).

The fund will be used to purchase bare land and established forest plantations from the £2 million raised.

Irish Forestry Services controls in excess of 4,500 acres throughout the State, managing forestry investment for an existing 6,100 investors.

The product is divided into three marketable life cycles of 10 years each and the company anticipates a 100 per cent take up of its latest Forestry Investment Plan.
