Never has a jeans company been so indebted to a puppet. Flat Eric, seen here with his human sidekick Angel, is the star of Levis Sta-Pres denim promotion. The campaign is back, having given the brand back some of the street cred it lost a long time ago. The first Flat Eric ads attained cult status and the yellow gonk even had a chart topping single. The brand is hoping for the same response from teen and twenty-something viewers to the latest five Flat Eric ads which will air on ITV and Channel 4 from tonight. The ads were devised by UK agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
