THE CHIEF Executive of Anglo Irish Bank, Mike Aynsley has said that the bank will actively pursue its former chief executive David Drumm to get as much money as possible back for the taxpayer.
Speaking to RTÉ at the launch of Irish Timesjournalist Simon Carswell's book Anglo Republic: Inside The Bank That Broke Irelandlast night, Mr Aynsley said that Mr Drumm needed to face the public in Ireland adding "he needs to get a bit of back-bone and come back". Describing the investigation into the bank as very complex he said, there were millions of documents to go through and time was needed to go through them but, at the end of the day, the investigation needed to come to an end.
