Nineteen young entrepreneurs from all over the Republic have been selected as finalists in the Shell LiveWIRE Young Business Start-Up Awards, which will be presented by Minister of State for Science, Technology and Commerce, Mr Noel Treacy, at a ceremony in Croke Park on May 17th.

The awards were open to anyone aged between 16 and 30 whose businesses have been up and running for between three and 18 months. The overall winner will receive £3,000 (€3,800), while each of the four winners will be presented with £1,000.
