The Belfast shipyard and offshore contractor Harland and Wolff has been named as the UK's premier export company at the NatWest/Financial Times Export Excellence Awards in London. The yard also won the regional award in the Scotland and Northern Ireland category. Harland and Wolff chief executive Mr Per Nielsen said that it was a recognition of the dramatic changes which had taken place at the yard in recent years.
