Esat in new horse race

Esat Digifone has become the new commercial sponsor of the Irish Champion Stakes, Leopardstown Racecourse said yesterday. "We are delighted with this sponsorship from Esat Digifone," said Mr Denis McCarthy, the chairman of the racecourse. "Their involvement as a very strong commercial company illustrated the value of this sponsorship, and the race will be known as The Digifone Champion Stakes." The race, to be held on September 13th, is expected to attract some of Ireland's leading racehorses.
