Net assets at Conroy Gold and Natural Resources grew 10 per cent to €12.6 million in the 12 months to May 31st – its financial year – according to its annual report. The group, which has licences to explore for gold in counties Monaghan and Armagh, had net assets at the end of May in 2010 of €11.5 million.

n The report shows that the company paid its chairman, Prof Richard Conroy, a total of €262,500 in fees, salary and share-based payments in its 2010/11 financial year.
