Venture capital group Delta Partners has invested £750,000 in the Dublin based computer software company, IFS. Through its investment, Delta has taken a 32.5 per cent stake in the business, valuing it at around £2.3 million.

Established in 1992, by Mr Ken Coldrick and Mr Vincent Coldrick, IFS develops Windows based investment and risk management software for the international financial markets. Its clients include ABN Amro bank, Bank Indosuez, Standard Bank of South Africa, Westpac Banking Corporation, Societe Generale and Mees Piersons. It employs seven people in Dublin and has developed marketing support and distribution agreements with Reuters. The funds would be used to expand the company's operations, it said yesterday.
