Data Electronics, the Dublinbased co-location and managed services provider, has been chosen to supply co-location and managed services to the Internet Neutral Exchange (INEX).

INEX is a facility for Irish Internet service providers to allow them to easily interconnect within Ireland, and hence improve connectivity and service for their customers.

Members include AT&T, Ebone, eircom net, Esat Business, Esat Fusion, HEAnet, Indigo, nevadatele.com, NTL, UUNet and VIA NET.WORKS.

The INEX exchange will be hosted in Data Electronics' new 120,000 sq ft facility in northwest Dublin and will go live on April 5th.
