Crean directors get £1.1m

THE five executive directors of holding company James Crean shared £1.1 million in salaries, bonuses and other forms of remuneration last year. The Crean annual report for 1995 shows that their basic salaries came to £680,000 and their bonuses £148,000.

They received pensions and other benefits totalling £252,000. The salaries of the individual directors is not broken down but the chief executive, Mr Ray McLoughlin, is on a salary of £200,000 a year according to stock exchange documents filed by Crean earlier this year.
