CPL Resources, the specialist recruitment group, has warned its performance in the current financial year will be significantly lower than last year.

At the CPL annual meeting in Dublin yesterday, chairman Mr John Hennessy said: "We are not anticipating losses; we continue to be profitable. We have taken steps to manage our cost base effectively without losing our ability to compete in, and lead, our market."
