In last week's Family Money, the tables of interest rates for deposit accounts in the Government savings scheme gave incorrect figures for Irish Permanent accounts.

The correct Irish Permanent fixed interest rate for the five year scheme is 3.0 per cent, and not 3.75 per cent. The variable rate on offer from the building society is 3.5 per cent and not 4.0 per cent.
