HALF a million shares, worth around Pounds 200,000, in the Break for the Border restaurant and music venue group, taking in the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, changed hands yesterday on the London stock market ahead of full year results expected later this month.

The share trade, equating to just on 2 per cent of the company's share capital, was exceptionally large.

Break for the Border shares were unchanged at 41p after the share trade. The Marino Group - owned by the O'Dwyer family - has a 29.9 per cent stake in Break for the Border.
