The Margin's sources inform it that the Bee Gees were introduced to the national sport, hurling, in a rather oblique way when they arrived at Dublin Airport last weekend.

It seems the band were informed by baggage handlers that only hurling referees rushed in Ireland. All very fitting, of course, on the day when the semi-final debacle was finally resolved between Clare and Offaly. No word yet on whether Tragedy will be adopted as the Clare anthem.
