ELECTRONIC components manufacturer, the AVX Corporation, is to invest £45.7 million in new high technology techniques to expand its ceramic chip operation at Coleraine, Co Derry. AVX, which employs 950 people, has been manufacturing for the electronics industry for more than 18 years.
