An article in the edition of September 21st, concerning the purchase of a property at Sunday’s Well, Lucan, from Thomas Dowd, said Mr Dowd was a director of Avestus, the property investment company, and that Avestus was originally controlled by Derek Quinlan.

Mr Quinlan was bought out of Quinlan Private by his partners, who renamed the firm Avestus.

Solicitors for Mr Quinlan have pointed out that he did not have any role or interest in Avestus.
