The leaders of the Northern Ireland Assembly will continue their roadshow in the United States this morning, writes Carol Power in New York. At a breakfast at the Plaza Hotel, Mr David Trimble, Mr Seamus Mallon and a host of American and Irish business leaders will encourage job creating investment in Northern Ireland. They will officially start a promotional roadshow which will tour the United States and Canada over the next three weeks and take in 11 cities.

"We're confident that we're moving into a new future," said the North's First Minister, Mr David Trimble. "Seeing an end to politically motivated violence is a reason for people to see the need to invest in Northern Ireland," he said.
