AIB Capital Markets has signed a £500,000 contract with Hewlett Packard Ireland to upgrade the computer system serving its international banking services department, the computer firm said last night. The new computers would provide a sophisticated accounting and pricing system for derivatives and allow more efficient provision of information to customers, Hewlett Packard added.
