ACCBank has joined the majority of other lenders and has cut its interest rates for borrowers and savers by between a quarter and a half a point. ACC's new standard mortgage rate is 7.20 per cent from 7.45 per cent. Interest paid on current accounts has been cut from 1.75 per cent to 1.25 per cent on balances over £25,000.
