AB Airlines, the independent company which has been operating out of Shannon for over two years and will begin a new daily service to Birmingham as a "codeshare" with Aer Lingus next month, yesterday announced details of its proposed placing shares and flotation on the official list of the London Stock Exchange, writes Arthur Quinlan in Shannon. The company hopes to place £9 million to allow for upgrading its fleet to larger and more technologically advanced aircraft and to develop new and existing routes.
