Wicklow just held on for a one- point victory at Aughrim yesterday after being nearly pipped at the post by a late Wexford rally that brought 1-4 without reply in the closing 10 minutes of the match.

It was only with the game seemingly gone from them that Wexford came with their dramatic late spurt.
