Rugby: The Independent IRFU Drugs Tribunal has informed the IRFU of its adjudication on the case concerning a player who was discovered to have an adverse finding during out of competition testing as part of the Irish Sports Council's anti-doping programme, writes Ian O'Riordan.
The tribunal's decision is that Thomas Kenny Jnr of Young Munster RFC has been found guilty of taking a prohibited substance, oxymetholone.
He has been suspended for three years from January 16th, 2001. He has not appealed the decision to the IRFU Drugs Appeal Tribunal.
Oxymetholone is the brand name of the anadrol steroid, one of the more popular illegal oral steroids in sport.

Athletics: Triple Olympic gold medallist Marion Jones said yesterday she had separated from her husband, world shot put champion CJ Hunter, and will seek a divorce.
"CJ and I very recently decided we were headed in different directions in terms of our lives and decided that it was time for us to go in our separate ways," Jones told Reuters in a telephone interview.
Jones (25), said she would soon file for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The couple had been married since October 1998 and had no children.
Hunter, 32, retired from the sport earlier this year after being suspended for a positive dope test, for the banned steroid nandrolone, last year.
