UCD, who narrowly missed out on a play-off spot for a place in Division Two of the AIL, suffered an early exit in yesterday's Leinster Senior Cup match at Lakelands Park. The students struck first after 14 minutes through full back Jake Smith. But Terenure's greater stamina soon told with four tries without reply, two from wing back Girvan Dempsey propelling them into a 247 lead. UCD countered briefly through Gordon Campbell before Dempsey completed his hat-trick.
