"The day of the Toulouse game I was actually in Holland, where I was running a 5km road race the next day. There was a Nike promotion that I was attending and an Irish guy was working there. So he came up to me and said: "Come on Sonia, win tomorrow and do the double for Munster". It was only then that I realised what they had won, and obviously I was delighted.
Anytime there's any sort of sporting success at home is always great, and especially if it involves Munster. I'll definitely be watching the final; my mother is also planning to visit London that week and she's made sure that she will stay on for the game.
I've always enjoyed watching the internationals and do enjoy the game. Last October, I attended the World Cup semi-final between France and New Zealand at Twickenham. A funny thing happened there in that I had my daughter Ciara with me. She was tiny then, and hidden away in a pouch. We were also right between the French and New Zealand supporters, and when France went ahead they all started singing like mad.
So Ciara woke up and only then did they realise she was there. We jokingly said "Shhh . . " and they couldn't believe she was there the whole time. So she's had a bit of exposure to the game from an early age."
