Derry City's eircom League Premier Division trip to Bray Wanderers fell by wayside this afternoon as the unforgiving Irish summer claimed more sporting fixtures.

With the Irish PGA golf down the road in Brittas Bay already falling foul of the heavy rainfall and tomorrow's race meeting at the Curragh abandoned, Bray announced that the match at the Carlisle Grounds was off due to a waterlogged pitch.
