Louis Carey gave City the lead early in the second half, but his trip on Jose Fonte gave Ben Watson the chance to level matters from the penalty spot with just minutes remaining.

But David Noble popped up in injury time to rifle home a stunning 25-yard strike and give Gary Johnson's side the advantage heading into next week's second leg.
