Soccer: Wolves' dwindling hopes of avoiding relegation from the Premier League suffered another blow today with the news midfielder Jamie O'Hara and defender Jody Craddock could miss the rest of the season.

The club have confirmed that O’Hara has undergone surgery on the groin injury which has sidelined him since the home defeat to Blackburn over three weeks ago while Craddock has also gone under the knife in a bid to cure a long-standing hamstring problem.

Former Tottenham man O’Hara is expected to miss between six and eight weeks while the club predict Craddock will be out for at least five.

Wolves sacked Mick McCarthy as manager on February 13th and replaced him with his former assistant Terry Connor but the change has failed to improve their fortunes. Saturday’s home defeat to Bolton left them rooted to the foot of the table, six points adrift of safety with just seven games remaining.
