Finna Harps 0 Bohemians 2: Bohemians extended their lead at the top of the eircom Premier Division with a 2-0 win in Finn park tonight.

Owen Heary's 23rd minute goal set the league leaders on their way but they had to wait until Jason Byrne's 90th minutes penalty to be sure of the points.

The win gives Pat Fenlon's side a five point lead over nearest challengers St Patrick's Athletic.

Earlier, a Ciaran Kilduff hat-trick saw Kildare County past Fanad United in their rescheduled FAI Cup third round tie at Station Road.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring after 16 minutes to give the homeside a 1-0 halftime lead.

He added two more in the 75th and 85th minutes.

In the third round replays, Wexford youths beat Killester United 2-1 at Hadden Park thanks to goals from Conor Synott and Gavan Doyle, while First Division side Monaghan United caused an upset with a 1-0 win over UCD at the Belfield Bowl.
