Kinger Rocks has been installed as low as 6 to 1 favourite for the Guinness Galway Hurdle as Dermot Weld's team for the Ballybrit festival continues to gather strength.

Galway's most successful ever trainer already has the Plate favourite in Ansar, and Kinger Rocks is also a general market leader to bring off a potential big-race double for the Weld stable.

William Hill have opened their ante-post betting for the Hurdle with Kinger Rocks a 6 to 1 favourite to win and Cuan Na Grai rated the main danger at 8 to 1.

This afternoon's feature at the wind-up of Killarney's July festival is the Dawn Milk Run Handicap Hurdle, which can see the smart flat mare Saintly Rachel make a successful return to jumping.
